The art of communication

The art of communication

Work by students from professor Henry Brimmer’s digital image course line the walls of the Communication Arts and Sciences Building, making it more pleasant for those who walk its halls every day. The final displays are compiled from various courses such as telecommunications, infographics, photojournalism and other design courses. Sometimes every student’s work is represented. For other displays only the projects that showcase the best technical skill, ability to focus, and best ideas make it on the walls. Past displays have included assignments such as timelines, self-portraits, and concert or festival coverage. The following photo-essay features commentary by Brimmer on various assignments and the purpose behind them. Many of the photos are courtesy of Brimmer. -Agnieszka Spieszny
