Battle of the Bands Rocks On

The night of Friday March 23, the International Center at Michigan State University was filled with blasting music, wicked beats and rocking guitar solos. Every seat was filled as the night began, and students clearly expressed their excitement for their favorite bands as they performed. Nine bands performed at the 9th Annual Battle of the Bands: Little American Champ, Fertile Brainsoil, Matto, Audio Monarch, Last Night Saved My Life, The Blue Effect, Basement Shark Attack, Paper Wings and Sabertooth Fiance. The Blue Effect won first place at Battle of the Bands, receiving a thousand dollar gift card to Marshall Music.
