“Twilight” is officially out of control
Just when I think that the Twilight fandom couldn’t get any more ridiculously over-the-top, I find out that the DVD is not only going to be released on a Saturday, but that DVD stores are having midnight release parties.
I can understand midnight book release parties, but DVDs?! They’ve never done that before, not even for Harry Potter! And unfortunately, this proves that Twilight is crazier fad than Harry Potter.
In related news, Dakota Fanning is officially signed on to be in the sequel New Moon. I’m kind of stunned that she would be one of the characters; then again, I haven’t read the books thoroughly enough to care. An interesting development, but not interesting enough to see it.
