Coheed and Cambria
Good Apollo,
I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes Of Madness
Atlantic records
-- by Michael
Dura The conversion from the alternative underground
to metal has never been easy; Coheed and Cambria prove this
true again with their latest attempt. Although you’ll
find yourself head-banging sporadically throughout Good Apollo,
the metal edge the band was going for seems to get lost in numerous
gentle acoustic melodies and four songs over seven minutes long
(which you’ll find yourself skipping through anyway).
You will hear three or four quality anthems, however, the album
eventually becomes as drawn out as its title.
